This is an online learning platform for trainees in Trauma & Orthopaedic surgery. This platform is aimed at providing trainees and junior doctors in Trauma & Orthopaedic surgery with opportunities to learn. During the COVID pandemic, we believe that training opportunities should continue to be provided. This site aims to facilitate those opportunities.

For the specialist registrars in T&O, our simulated CBD project will enable a formalised structure to complete workplace-based assessment. Due to social distancing measures, our consultant faculty have agreed to give up their time to run sessions on a variety of topics. Each session comprises of 3-4 cases, each with key learning points. Trainees engage in discussion with the consultant faculty, and complete a case-based discussion assessment on the ISCP portfolio for each case.

For the pre-ST3 junior doctors, we have put together an easy-to-digest resource, the Turbo Lecture Series. These are a series of short and informative lectures, given by specialist registrars. They cover a variety of topics including anatomy, surgical approaches, clinical assessment, and management.
